Read this blog post from Greg Trimble, I loved what he had to say about the Book of Mormon. "SO YOU THINK THE BOOK OF MORMON IS A FRAUD?" by Greg Trimble here is the original blog post I can still remember the exact spot I was sitting when I knew the Book of Mormon was true. I was in a beach chair on my balcony in Corona Del Mar, California waiting to go surfing. I had just recently started a serious investigation of the Church when I first began reading the Book of Mormon. As I began my study…I realized that the most important thing I could do is find out whether or not the Book of Mormon was true. People that oppose the Church hate when someone says, “I know the Book of Mormon is true”…but I don’t know how else to say it. I know the Book of Mormon is true. (Begin jeering at the cliche’) I’m not going to leave it at that though…I’ll tell you how I know it’s true. This wasn’t something that I figured out over night. For me…I wanted some evidence and it wasn’t eno...

In Church yesterday during the third hour a speaker who is a psychiatrist spoke to us about Depression, not just Depression but the different types of depression, their cause, their duration and ways to solve them. I think this lesson is helpful for everyone, because there are millions who are affected by depression, and it is helpful to understand depression more, for those affected with it and those who know people affected by it. The 10 types of Depression 1) Being bummed 2) Mood Swings 3) Situational Depression 4) Combo Depression 5) Dysthymia 6) Cyclothymia 7) Clinical Depression 8) Minor depressive disorder 9) Major depressive disorder 10) Bipolar Depressive Disorder Cause(s) 1) not meeting expectations, someone said something rude, getting hurt. 2) Bad day, stressed, small fight with a friend or family member. 3) Big fight with someone, a breakup, death. 4) When situational depression starts to changes your brain chemicals into clinical depression. 5) Mild ch...

If you want real answers and the truth about my faith than go to the source. lds.org or mormon.org There are tons of anti-mormon websites out there, but before you get caught up in people opinions check out the actual religion and their website before jumping to conclusions. Feel free to ask questions in the comment box below, or ask questions on Mormon.org for those who are curious. The church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and without it I don't know what my life would be like right now. With love, Arianna

A talk by Elder L. Tom Perry Men and women receive their agency as a gift from God, but their liberty and, in turn, their eternal happiness come from obedience to His laws. None of us should ever underestimate how driven Satan is to succeed. His role in God’s eternal plan creates “opposition in all things” ( 2 Nephi 2:11 ) and tests our agency. Each choice you and I make is a test of our agency—whether we choose to be obedient or disobedient to the commandments of God is actually a choice between “liberty and eternal life” and “captivity and death.” Stand ye in Holy Places and Be Not Moved. I am a very religious person, and I know that following God's commandments are hard, I often make mistakes and break the rules and do things which I know are not good for me. But I know that God is forgiving and loves me, and I always have a way back. I felt like sharing a spiritual message today, because I was moved during church today, and for anyone who wanders upon this message, I...

Its been more then 2 years that I have had this blog, but its been two years with the ariebelleblog.blogspot.com, but about 3 years altogether with the first year with another name. Blogging is a hobby of mine, Its not like I am internet famous or anything, and I probably view my blog more then anyone else does, but honestly I love sharing things from my life and not know who will see it, with the hope that maybe it was something that helped someone that day, or lifted a spirit or inspired something. My blog has about 14,000 views, which is crazy! I am very proud of that number. Because for the longest time it was under 1,000 and then all of a sudden it seems like people randomly started stumbling onto my blog, which I am totally okay with! So much has happened this last year, and I haven't been very good at posting things on my blog lately. Lately I've been thinking a lot about death, because my Grandfather on my mothers side is getting to that point where we...
