piece by piece, I've put myself back together like humpty dumpty each day a triumph, rebuilt my family brick by brick, adding some strong mortar  every tear a waterfall but theres no more need to cry  I have a new life time to spread my wings and fly

So lets take this back in time, press the button called rewind back this time two years ago, it was me and you against the world bound my a piece of silver and an emerald stone, Memories, memories, haunt me like some disease and sometimes I cant shake them off my mind fast forward 3 months, sixteenth birthday and just a week before the 28th we made a new memory down that path we went, no turning back love, thats what we had no matter how good or how bad fast forward 4 months hell broke lose, fighting, fighting fighting no escape damn. pause, what would have happened if the following month didn't the one where I got sent away and everything changed just a thought, you know thinking out loud everything seems to blur, into a confusion of the color blue unpause, well we all know the following month I left no call, just a text this all sounds like a f$*king movie, some kind of sh@t you see on TV sent away, into the woods thoughts always in my mind skip forward t

Its hard to wrap my brain around the fact that you wont be around and I wont be with you there is no more you and me everyday for the past 8 or so months I saw your face and from now on its all virtual, Its only been since Friday and if I could have it my way I would still be with you holding your hand in secret kissing you when no one is around I fell in love with you when I told myself not to you knew me deep, deep down to the point that no one else has known leaving was hard not because I was scared of home, but sad of the space in my heart that still has your name of course over time it will fade, but I know I'll never ever forget you and all the silly things we went through we met in a place that few have heard of and like the Rihanna song 'we found love in a hopeless place' you'll always hold a special place with me, and I am so glad that you do and only you know that its true, you were a great friend always
