I never thought that we could become what we are

I never thought my heart could beat the rhythm of love again

So many things have happened in the past year or so

So many feelings, emotions and battles

overcome and conquered

but when it comes to boys

I stay guarded,

When you give away everything that you are

and that person goes and hurts you, you get scarred

Everything in the past haunts me in the present

but everything in the future will be easier

I've over come a lot,

I'm grateful for that place, and for meeting you and all my friends,

At first I thought you were just a game,

joking around with me,

But then it became more, but I didn't let you in

Then things began to change and I trusted you for you,

You keep my smile bright and make the days go by fast

I always want to see you, and hear your voice,

I wish we had more time together but our journey is almost up,

Good thing is, we found each other,

and we fell in love. 

Love comes easily, but its hard to find

and in the mist of all our battles, we came together

Shared our stories, and our trials

I'm grateful for you, to have you around,

your my best friend in that town, 

and our friendship will be strong for a long time,

don't forget me, I won't forget you.
